Health Educator Darlene Andes Memorialized
April 5-9 is Public Health Week. Since the very first COVID-19 case in Mercer County in March 2020, our Mercer County Division of Public Health and its partners have worked tirelessly to get all of us through this pandemic, even after tragically losing our Health Educator, Darlene Andes, to COVID-19 last April. The team at Mercer Public Health gathered today to plant a tree in her memory at Mercer County Park Commission's Rosedale Park. "During the most challenging public health crisis of our lifetime, it is more important than ever to celebrate these dedicated Mercer County employees for all their hard work to keep our community safe," said Mercer County Brian M. Hughes, asking that the community join him in recognizing these incredible heroes.
